Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 May 2026
By creating a Snapdrop account or using our service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Snapdrop. The service is operated by Snapdrop — see our Imprint for operator details.
Service
Snapdrop provides tools for event photographers to share QR or links with guests, collect media, and manage downloads. Features and limits depend on your plan. See pricing and fair use.
Accounts & billing
- You must provide accurate account information and keep your login secure.
- Creating an account is free, but you must purchase a Single Event pass or subscribe before creating events. See pricing.
- One person or studio per account unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Acceptable use
You and your guests must not:
- Upload illegal content, malware, or material you do not have rights to share.
- Abuse storage, scrape the service, or resell Snapdrop as storage hosting.
- Attempt to bypass security, quotas, or other accounts' data.
We may suspend accounts that violate these rules or our fair use policy.
Content ownership
Photographers and guests retain ownership of uploaded media. You grant Snapdrop a limited license to store, process, and display content only as needed to provide the service (e.g. thumbnails, slideshow, ZIP export).
Payments & plans
- The Single Event pass is a one-time payment via Stripe. Monthly plans renew until canceled.
- Prices are shown in EUR on our pricing page. Taxes may apply.
- Refunds are handled according to applicable law and Stripe policies unless we agree otherwise.
Availability & changes
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update features or these terms; material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
Disclaimer & liability
Snapdrop is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Cyprus, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise.
